Big sigh of relief and tears too

Allez Wiggo!!!

After all the tiara twirling panic about Prince Philip of Southern Hemisphere arriving on Friday, it's not happening as his visa etc have been delayed for his onward journey from England, so he is hopefully coming to stay  next time he jets through the UK. Big sigh of relief from me and tears too, had been a little bit bouncy happy about seeing him for first time in 3 years, but also tres worried about where I was going to be living etc.

So today I am trying to get on with the final bits of move and by this time next week I hope to be fully ensconced in LT Towers II.

Super news on the cricket front, Yorkshire won the toss and elected to bat and were bowled out for 249      at close yesterday. Gillespie the Great 'tweeted' that they were a bit indecisive with their shot selection but looking forward to going into bowl today. #COYT

Durham won the toss and elected to bat and scored 197 runs although they had lost 5 batsmen before making a100. Australia A were 111-6 so as I said it really is very much 'even stevens' at this time.

Oh nearly forgot 2nd test starts today too!.( this house move is jolly well addling my brain!)

Good news for super girly power! Heather Stanning and Helen Glover won the first Gold medal for Great Britain  and also the first gold won by British women's crew, so jolly well done to you both I can tell you I was  jumping up and down  in a completely mad fashion willing you to win.

Also Bradley Wiggins took the gold in the cycling  with Chris Froome coming in the bronze medal position, how fantastic is that? how amazing is Wiggo? Well done those men!! Bradley Wiggins now ( very humbly) becomes the most decorated Olympian in Great Britain, what a super star.

The Duke of Adelaide was out at a 'Sportsman Dinner' last night ( Australia time) and met Adelaide Crows legend Andrew Jarman. He indulged in a couple of Scotch and cokes and hopefully he had a jolly good evening.

Lady Laineys bid to take over another catering empire looks to have been blocked, some underhand dealings and nepotism I hear, but as I said, if it was meant to happen, it would. So I will remain here at super swanky Lady Lainey office, sitting at my desk looking pretty and shouting at the 'boys'! And running the tea's and lunches business as a side line.

Well time to go and shout at the said 'boys' and then to the important job of the day....looking pretty!!!
